Output vs. Outcomes
If you’re not getting the results that you want from your team, then you could be managing for output and not outcomes.
Output is the product of your work, and an outcome measures the effectiveness and value of your output.
You need both to drive change and achieve your organizational goals. Plus, anyone can fake output, but no one can escape outcomes.
