Virtual Gala Speech

A couple of weeks ago, I had the pure pleasure of judging a virtual #Facilithon competition for #SkillsUSA high school students who are interested in a career in #012060. I cannot begin to express how fulfilling it was to work with and encourage these kids.

When Jim Zirbel and the FM Pipeline team asked me to share a few words during our (virtual!) awards gala, I was nervous about my one opportunity to #empower and make a lasting impact on the students. Jim and Carolyn McGary, FMP, CFM, SFP (aka Wonder Woman) helped me realize what an exciting time it is to be entering the field of #FM, I just wanted to share that hype and convey the positive momentum that’s happening in our industry right now. There’s more opportunity now than ever before.
